"Hey!" laughed Ryan, shaking his head at her. "You're a witty one, y'know that?"

Once the waitress approached their table, Ryan quickly ordered and handed her his menu, wanting nothing more than to spend time with Lillian.

Lillian did the same, thanking the waitress before she scurried off to get their food.

"I do know that, actually. But, it's nice to hear it from someone else every once in a while." Lillian smirked at him, slowly moving her hand to the middle of the table, hoping he would take it.

[Specs]

"Really, now?" he smirked, reaching over to take her hand. He was amazed at how soft her hands felt, refusing to let them go until he really had to.

"So, is there anything else you wanted to do around here? Maybe for a future date?"

"Well, I grew up around here, so there's really nothing I haven't done. So, really, I should be asking you that question." Lillian had a hard time breathing properly as he held her hand.

[Specs]

Ryan gently rubbed her fingers with his thumb, savoring their intimate time together.

"What's your favorite thing to do around here?"

"I just love to walk around. There's quite a nice park on the east side of town. I like to go there and read or feed the ducks." Lillian shrugged, hoping he didn't think that sounded lame or boring.

[Specs]

((No worries! Feeling better today?))

"That sounds like the best place to relax," he said, wondering what it would be like to go there with her. It was difficult enough to find down time at the base, especially alone time when no one was bothering you.

"Is it around here? We should go there next time."

((Yes! Except I almost cried during the school assembly because the choir sang "Hey Jude" which is my sister's favorite song! And they also sang "Yesterday" which hit a bit close to home! But they were so adorable, I just couldn't be sad ))

"It's not too far of a walk, but I take a bus or taxi when I'm feeling particularly lazy." Lillian chuckled at herself, noting that it was actually her shoes that usually made her shy away from walking. But that was the sacrifice Lillian was willing to make for fashion.

[Specs]

"We could go during the weekend," suggested Ryan, smiling at the waitress as she placed the food in front of them. "I can try to see if I can borrow one of the boys' car around here somewhere so you wouldn't have to walk."

That made Lillian more excited than it should have. She began eating her food, elegantly using her knife and fork, just as she had been taught.

"There's also the cinema just 'round the corner. I love to watch movies." Lillian liked watching movies almost as much as she liked reading.

((I know! I can't believe August is kinda almost over already!))

[Specs]

"We can have the whole day to ourselves, then," he said, actually quite excited of spending the whole day with her.

"So, should I give you a brief introduction of the boys?" Ryan asked after a couple moments, realizing that it was getting late.

"Yes, please do." Lillian nodded, dabbing at her mouth with her napkin then folding it neatly in her lap.

"I've been commissioned to set my roommates up with someone, so I need to keep a watchful eye on these friends of yours."

[Specs]

"Don't worry, they'll have a lot of options," said Ryan, laughing. "Let's see.. I mentioned Teddy to you already, one of the nicest guys I know. Then there's Trey, he's sort of our jokester of the group. Always laughing or making a laugh about someone. And Tony who loves to bet on things... or anything, really. There's also Jack, who think he owns the world. Oh, and Michael. He's the shy one."

"Oh, you weren't kidding!" Lillian replied. "Well, I'll just bring them along next time we do this and have them choose."

Lillian really didn't want to spend more time not with Ryan as possible, and trying to find boyfriends for her roommates would definitely take her attention away from him.

((I'm gonna head off to bed. Night!))

"The boys'll love it," he smiled, already planning their escape route for this future get-together. Noticing that they were both done with their meals, Ryan held up his hand to call the waiter for the bill as he reached into his pocket to grab his wallet.
