Although is practically a crime to offer to pay your own way, Lillian was the kind of girl that felt bad if she didn't.

"Might I pay for the drinks tonight?" She offered in a small voice.

"How about I cover this and you just buy me a couple drinks instead?" he offered, thinking that dinner would cost more than a couple drinks at the bar and he hated having Lillian pay more than he did for a night out.

Lillian nodded, quite satisfied with that arrangement. She stood up and noticed that she was already getting nervous about meeting Ryan's friends.

[Specs]

"You'll be fine," he smiled, giving her a quick kiss on the cheek. "They'll love you."

He led her back out to the street, heading towards the bar that the boys usually frequented. He held her hand gently, assuring her that he was there for support. Once they stepped into the bar, Ryan immediately spotted the boys, laughing merrily with drinks in their hands.

Teddy saw Ryan come in with who he assumed was Lillian. A wide smile came across his face, glad to see both one of his best friends but also one of his best friends with a beautiful girl attached to him. Of course, no one was as beautiful as his girl.

"Hey! RYAN!" Teddy yelled, waving his hand up in the air. "Come on!"

[Specs]

"Teddy!" shouted Ryan, waving back at him as he led Lillian towards the bar. "Okay, before anything else, this is Lillian." He beamed, glad to be showing her off.

"That's Teddy, Adri, Trey, Tony, Jack and Michael!"

Lillian smiled at them all, shaking their hands and saying "How do you do?"

Teddy, meanwhile, caught Ryan's eye and shot him a very approving smile with a wink.

"Oh! You're the new girl!" said Adri, running up to Lillian and giving her a big hug. She, then, tiptoed over to Ryan and whispered, "Is she your girlfriend?"

"Adri!!" muttered Ryan, unable to think of anything to say.

Lillian was surprised by the hug, but didn't mind it one bit. She was quite glad there was another girl there; sometimes being in a group of all guys made Lillian nervous and uncomfortable. She sat down on a stool as she watched Ryan and Adri chatting quietly about something.

Teddy began asking her the mandatory introductory questions, wanting to get to know her a little bit better.

As Ryan called over the bartender, Adri made her way towards Lillian and Teddy. "So, how are you liking it here so far?"

"Well, I actually grew up around here. So, needless to say, I'm really loving it." Lillian replied with a small chuckle. She hoped she didn't sound too nervous or was fidgeting too much. She tended to do that when she met new people and wanted to make a good impression on them.

Teddy draped an arm around Adri's shoulder, pulling her close to him. "Oh, that's cool!"

[Specs]

"Oh, you're from here!" said Adri excitedly. "You should show us around sometime!"

Ryan pushed through the group, two drinks in hand as he walked over to them. He sidled up next to Lillian, giving her a nudge on the shoulder before handing her her drink. "They treating you alright?"

"Hey, of course we are!" said Adri, rolling her eyes at him.

"Yes, of course they are. I was just about to offer to show them around the city sometime." Lillian said with a nod before taking a small sip of her drink.

"Hey, thanks." Teddy replied with a smile.

[Specs]

"Oh really now?" smirked Ryan, looking at Teddy and Adri. "Both of you are already stealing her away from me?"

Lillian blushed conspicuously, taking another sip of her drink to prevent herself from saying anything embarrassing.

Teddy just gave Adri a knowing look, smirking.
