Lillian blushed furiously, biting her lip.
"Yeah..." Teddy replied, his face lighting up a bit. "You're right! So, you're welcome." He puffed out his chest, proud that he'd helped get his best friend a nice girl. It was about time.

"You still hurt him! Don't get too ahead of yourself," said Adri, playfully poking Teddy's chest.
Noticing Lillian's blush, Ryan simply smiled at her and gave her shoulder a gentle squeeze, hoping she wasn't too embarrassed. "See? I told you they'd like you!"

"Yeah, but... He's fine now! Right? He's fine!" Teddy sputtered, looking to Lillian for back-up.
"Yes, I... I think he's almost fully healed." Lillian replied with a glance at Ryan. She winked at him, as a very coy smile crept onto her lips.

Ryan returned Lillian's smile, keeping his eyes on her as he said, "Yeah, almost. That's why I've got this beautiful nurse with me."
Adri couldn't help but smirk at the two, completely amused by Ryan's behavior. It was weird seeing him with a girl but was still happy for them. "You two need some alone time?" teased Adri.

Teddy took Adri's hand as a slow, jazzy song started to play. "That's not a bad idea." He said before leading her to the dance floor.
Lillian pushed at Ryan's chest playfully. "Are you deliberately trying to make me blush in front of all your friends?" She asked with a smile.

"No!" said Ryan, shaking his head. "Maybe? A little? But you're too cute when you smirk! And I finally get to show you off."
He took a step back and offered his hand to her with a bow. "A dance, my lady?"

Lillian put her hand in his. "I would be delighted." She replied with a small curtsy.
She followed him to the dance floor, happy to dance with him again.

Ryan pulled her close, putting his other arm around her waist as he began to softly hum with the music that was playing. "Thanks for coming with me to meet my friends here today," he said softly. "It means a lot."

Ryan smiled, moving across the floor (and trying his best to ignore his friends whoots and calls) as he held Lillian close. "Just let me know when you want to make an exit," he said after a couple moments.
