((I'm thinking he was a big deal in the points and like used to try and steal kids to recruit them to steal for him, kind of like Fagan in Oliver Twist lol))

"Valid point," He said, "Alex was this huge gangster in the points. Everyone was paying him money. He used to kidnap kids and keep them, make them steal for him, half of them ended up dying. When he tried to catch me I bit him and I wouldn't let go until he pried me away, I still remember the way his ear felt between my teeth, then he looks at me and laughs, right in my face." Tristan continued with a smirk, "So he goes 'Alright kid, you win' and from then on he always looked out for me, better than my own dad."

"He didn't kill me cause I'm the only one who faught back." Tristan said, "That's how these guys work, they wanna know if you're a fighter, if they can use you in a different way...When I was twelve he put me in the boxing ring. He made ten times more money off me than anybody else."
