'I'm sorry, HUSBAND but you seem to think that being married means you own me,' Nevada spat out, 'I may be your wife but I am not an object-not a slave you can't make all MY decisions for me.' she said, crossing her arms.
She looked over at him and softened her face, 'I just.....I wanna keep you secret from him. Please.'

Nevadas mouth quirked at his response. Maybe she was being harsh. She walked over to him and crouched down, resting her hands on his knees as she looked up at him.
'im sorry.....I just ain't used to someone caring what happened to me, someone trying to protect me it's....new and I'll try to get used to it,' she said, offering him a small smile.

God forbid she knew what he was doing to keep them in their apartment, to makes ends meet...and maybe then some.
He looked down at her and sighed, "c,mere..." he took her hand and then pulled her down onto his lap. "I don't have to exactly go with you, ya know?" He smirked.
