Nevada curled closer, 'take me home.' she begged, not hearing what he said to Goblin. 'I'm sorry.' she said, referring to the fight they had before she left.

Goblin headed home to inform Clara that he was somehow still alive, and all set to help her kill a cop in a couple days' time.
Maybe someday he wouldn't owe her anymore. Maybe.

Tristan carried her all the way back to their apartment in Brooklyn. Once there he set her down on the bed.

Tristan slipped in beside her and wrapped his arms around her. He kissed her neck tenderly.

Tristan sighed heavily. "Everyone wants to kill me Nevada," he tried to make light of the situation. He kissed her cheek.

Nevada turned to face him, cupping his face with her hands. 'I love you but I don't appreciate the joke.' she said before kissing him.
'I wish it didn't hurt to be alive because all I want to do is fuck you.' she admitted with a small smile.
