"This is it." He grinned at her, getting her bag and slinging it over his shoulder before grabbing her hand. He led her into the building and to his apartment, opening the door and flipping on the lights. It really wasn't that bad. An obvious bachelor pad, but it was clean.

He laughed, setting her bag down by the couch. "Well, ya live in a house with seven people, Mama made sure we kept it neat. Otherwise, it meant an ass whoopin'. Old habits die hard, I guess." He perched himself on the arm of the couch, holding his arms out to her.

"7 people?" Raven asked and her eyes widened, "How many siblings do you have?" Raven plopped down beside him and turned to face him.

He settled in beside her, drapping an arm over the back of the couch. "Five. And I'm smack dab in the middle, two older and two younger. What about you? Any siblings?"

He smirked. "Either means we'll be great together, or both fightin' for attention." He shrugged, smiling lazily at her. "Who knows. Maybe that's why I get ya the way I do. We got a lot in common."

"Yeah, why not?" He smiled against her lips, tugging her closer. "I kinda like having ya in my arms." Ever the charmer, he felt like it was his job to make her feel better after being on her own for four months.
