He chuckled against her neck, nuzzling a little. He'd never admit it, but he was a bit of a softie post-coitus. He led her over to the living rom, plopping down onto the couch and pulling her down with him.

He flashed her a grin. "Adorable, huh? No wonder I joined a damn biker gang. Had ta balance out just how damn cute I am by doin' somethin' stupid." He brushed a hand over her hair, kissing her temple. Honestly, he didn't know where this was going to go. Spot wasn't getting out for at least a year, if he behaved himself. And Spot never behaved himelf.

He angled towards her, deepening the kiss, hands moving into her hair. He broke the kiss enough to look at her, face serious. "Rae, I ain't gonna pretend I can replace Spot...but as long as he ain't here an' yer on yer own...lemme look out for ya...look after ya..."

He lifted a shoulder in a shrug, brushing hair from her eyes. "Come on, Rae. I care aboutcha'. You oughta know that by now." He grinned at her, maybe a little sheepish. "Always was kinda jealous of Spot cuz he had ya, an' I didn't."

"I guess I just never thought you would have." She said with a laugh, "Honestly," Rae ran her fingers through his hair. "Then again my head was so far up Spot's ass I wouldn't have really noticied."
Her and Spot had been together since high school and the two of them had been through nearly every problem a relationship could have. When they were broken up they had never stayed that way for long. Now that Spot was in prison this was the longest they had ever been away from each other.
