Raven made her way up the stairs and made a right heading for Annabelle's room. Her majesty had decided to have breakfast in bed today...at least it smelled delicious, sausage, eggs, camomile tea. Raven sighed and thought about snatching a sausage off the plate. She restrained herself, besides mornings had not been the best time of day for her lately. She constantly felt queasy.
Raven rested the tray on her knee and held it with one hand as she opened the door. She walked silently inside and set the tray down on the small table by the window. Annabelle didn't even look at her, yet she stood there waiting to be dismissed...as always. She folded her hands over her skirt and waited.

"Can you please bring it to my bedside table?" Annabelle asked sweetly, not wanting to get up. "I am feeling under the weather today. And can you also give this to Jonathan to deliver to Jesse at his work?" She handed Raven a folded letter.

"Yes Miss," everytime she had to call this girl miss it made her teeth ache. She placed the letter in the pocket of her skirt and then picked up the breakfast tray, placing by Annabelle's bedside.
"Will that be all, Miss?" Raven asked, looking directly at her. She wanted to get the hell out of that room before shestarts throttled her.

"For now, yes," Annabelle answered, reaching for her breakfast plate. "Well, actually, can you bring me some books from the library downstairs? I can trust you know how to read, right?"

Raven raised an eyebrow at her. "Yes." She replied through gritted teeth. Did this bitch think that she was going to sit on her ass and read to her all day cause she didn't feel good?
"I beg your pardon, but I do have other duties today, but I can get you a book for your own personal enjoyment." She replied with a smile.

Annabelle raised her eyebrow. "I don't want you to read to me. You have terrible grammar. I just don't want you to bring me titles of books that are boring."

Raven narrowed eyes at her. You would too if you stopped going to school when you were eight.
"Well, what would seem interesting to you? You have an entire library of classic from what I can tell." Raven said.

"Well, why don't I write down some titles to make it easier for you," Annabelle responded sweetly, reaching for her journal. She scribbled a few titles and handed the sheet of paper over to her.
"Does that make sense to you?"

"Yep, I'm on it." She glanced down at the paper and took a deep breath. Does that make sense to you? Does the girl think I'm slow because I'm poor!?
Raven retreated to the library to find the books she asked to get, she passed though the kitchen, popping a piece of bread in her mouth and managed to drop the letter off to Frank. Spot would tell her what it said later.
She went back upstairs and handed Annabelle all the books on her list. She wen over to the curtains and opened them partially.

Annabelle went to go reach for the first book in the stack. She sighed loudly, glancing at the book Romeo and Juliet. "these books just aren't the same once you've experience the real thing," Annabelle began, looking at Raven. "Have you ever been in love?" She sighed loudly again.

"Yes, actually. I've been in love for quite awhile." Raven said and though, with your fiance, to herself, also, it doesn't make me sigh like that. "Though...I wouldn't compare myself to Romeo and Juliet, doesn't end well." She said. She fluffed up the cushions on the window seat.
"So, if you don't mind me asking, you really love your fiance?"
