'Alright everyone I gotta start cooking dinner,' Nevada said once they made it back to the apartment, 'go play you two,' she said to Mikey and Lucy.

"C'mon Mikey...let's play Princess and Dragons..." Lucy grabbed her brother by the hand and started dragging him off to the bedroom. Mikey looked back at his father with eyes that begged Tristan to help him.
Tristan waved at him and laughed. He went over to the sink and grabbed a bowl filling it with water, he took a towel and then sat down at the kitchen table. He cracked his neck before he started to clear away the dried blood from his knuckles. "I'm getting too old for this shit." He grumbled.

Nevada shook her head as she set their groceries on the counter before walking over to Tristan. She got into his lap and took a rag, dipping it into the bowl to start cleaning him.
'if you're feeling too old at 22 we've got a problem!' she laughed, 'I need to tell you something....I wanted to tell you before the kids....'

He looked up at her and smirked, letting a hand rub up and down her back. "Nah I don't feel old...you know what I mean though? Slapping people around." he kisssed her neck and then held up his hand to her so she could clean it up, he probably needed to wrap it.
"Whatcha gotta tell me?" He asked.
((OH I think his hands are starting to get all fucked up, but he's not gonna tell her that))

Nevada held his hand and cleaned it off before reaching for a wrap to wrap his hand nice and good.
'Well....' she said as she started wrapping, 'you are going to be a father again,' she said, smiling at him.

Tristan immediately kissed her and pulled her closer. When he pulled away he was smiling. "When?" He instantly rested his hand on her stomach.

He was quiet fro a minute and then smirked. "I gotta ask Alex for a raise."

"No, just making more money when I do work." He said. He tenderly brushed some hair behind her ear and sighed. "I won't be able to do it much longer anyway..." Tristan admitted as he looked into her eyes. "I'll do it until I can't no more and then get another job."

'Alex may not say it but he cares about you.....maybe we can convince him to retire and give you the business,' she said half serious.

Tristan started to laugh. "he ain't retiring and besides I don't even know if I want it. He does some fucked up shit to people that I don't even know if I'm capable of. I'll figure it all out when I gotta."
He lifted his left hand and opened and closed his fingers slowly, his knuckles were swollen. He'd need to ice them later.
"Don't worry about it, I'll figure it out."
