Specs nodded, smiling. "Yup, Tag. She's my girlfriend. Light brown hair, a bit shorter than I am, always reading something..." His smile fell when he remembered where she was. "She's sick right now, though."

Maggie's mild annoyance at the fact that this perfectly decent guy in front of her had a girlfriend moved to the back-burner at his last words. She tilted her head in concern. "Sick? Is she ok?"

"She's at the hospital," he said, sighing. "One of her friends helped her out, so... she should be fine. Doctors should know what they're doing, right?"

Maggie instictively reached out and put a comforting hand on his shoulder. "Of course they do. She'll be fine." She sent him a warm smile. "She's lucky to have a guy like you looking out for her."

"Thanks," said Specs shyly before yawning loudly. "Sorry about that... I need to catch up on some sleep. I can show you where the girls' bunkroom is, if you want."

"Um, sure. I guess I'd better sleep too. Early morning and all that." She flashed him another smile, brighter this time. "Lead the way."

Specs nodded, walking up the lobby and towards the third floor. He made his way towards the door and stopped there. "It's right here," he explained. "Boys are downstairs and you can get through the rooftop through the fire-escape or the latch over there. There's also an attic and a basement, but they're pretty dusty."

Maggie smiled at him again. "Yeah. Yeah, see you around." She waved a bit as she turned into the bunkroom, cursing her bad luck. The good ones were always taken. Oh, well. She'd meet others.
