"Hey! Now what is that saying about my mothering skills, Racetrack!" She hit him playfully on the arm. "I feel bad for the poor kid, I'm probably gonna yell a lot."

"Not your mothering skills, your religious values." He laughed. "Nothing wrong with that, keeps 'em in line. 'Specially if you yell in Italian. It's more dramatic." His mother used to do it, and he and Tino and their father would all cringe before her.

"Oh, it's gonna happen." Raven said sternly. "Spot cringes when I start yelling at him in Italian, how could I not do it to my kid?"

He laughed, then realized how long they'd just been sitting here talking. "Hey, wasn't I promised coffee or wine?" he joked. Well, half-joked. Raven's wine was usually nothing to joke about.

"Oh shit! I got distracted by the visual sex," She got up and went into the kitchen, grabbed the wine bottle out of the cabinet and poured Race a glass.

Race beamed. "To Sean or Lina! And visual sex." He toasted her and closed his eyes as he sipped the ancient wine. "Where on earth do you find this stuff?"

Raven beamed, "I have my ways." She patted his arm, "I kind of hope it's a boy."

"Well, Tristan did have a girl," he pointed out. "They could grow up and get married!" He considered this. "On second thought, mixing Spot and Tristan's blood is a really bad idea. Keep Sean and Lucy far, far apart."

"Well, I'll hafta hurry up and have a daughter he can marry, then," Race joked. "Your poker skills combined with mine...their kids'd be unstoppable."

"New York better watch out," Raven said with a laugh. "And seriously, since I know you're gonna end up marrying Sapphy, can you get on that?" She teased him.

He almost choked on his wine. "Not everyone does these things when they're seventeen, y'know! 'Sides," he added with a sigh, "Sapphy don't wanna end up stuck in New York, and I can't really see myself leaving."

"You're a New Yorker for life, Race...sorry to tell ya that." Raven said with a smile. "And I'm eighteen by the way." She poked his shoulder. "I know, I get that I'm young and this is crazy. You think I don't know that?"

"You'll be fine," Race assured her. "You can handle a baby. And you and Spot...well, however that goes, you know you'll have plenty of people you can turn to. 'Sides, maybe the kid'll just bring the two of youse closer," he said with an optimistic grin. More likely make 'em crazier than ever, but you never know.

((Race's asides are my favorite things in the whole world. YES they will get crazier, OH my God you have no idea))
"I know I will, if we don't work out I at least know I have my friends to help if I really need it. Everything's gonna be fine." She said with a smile and then shrugged.
