"Not yet, it's way too soon. Wait and see how things go, though honestly I don't see you two completely falling apart." She poured more syrup on her pancakes and then took another bite. "You have to say it eventually or she'll start to wonder why you haven't said it, but you're not there yet, so don't worry."

"What would I do without you?" Race said half-seriously, dipping a piece of French toast in her massive pool of syrup. Sometimes he actually wondered why they hadn't been born brother and sister. Then the monster she'd actually had for a brother could have just never existed.

"You'd cry," Raven said in a completely monotone voice. "all the time," Raven reached over to his plate, dug her fork into his french toest and took a bite. "so good."

"Yeah, well...you didn't even know what an ace was when I met you! You'd've lost all your money to Fish three years ago," Race countered, stealing a piece of pancake off her plate. "Mmm, remind to get me to get these next time."

She laughed, "oh God what a louse that guy was and he thought I cheated, the nerve!" Raven had a huge smile on her face.
Then out of nowhere she said "put down that fork!" When he did, because Race usually listened to Rae she grabbed his hand and pressed it to her belly with a huge smile. "Amazing right?"

((HAHA! ;D Yeah, he would've dropped the fork.))
Race's eyes widened as he felt...something inside Rae's belly. "It's moving!! Is it s'posta move?"

((Course he would have, I don't think Race would turn to Rae and go maybe unless he wanted to deliberately annoy her))
Raven started laughing, "Course it is, it's a baby" She smiled at the look on his face. "It's so strange right?"

"Very," Race agreed. Women's bodies worked in mysterious ways. He looked at the bump in Rae's belly and addressed it solemnly. "Hey, little Sean or Lina, it's your godfather. Never try to draw to an inside straight, a'right?" He looked up at Raven. "You gotta start training 'em early."

"And you're just the man to do it," She said with a laugh, she rubbed a hand over her belly and smiled. "Honestly I don't care what it is, girl or boy, I just want it out...and I still have months to go." She pouted.

"Yeah, but they're the last few months," Race pointed out. "That means you get to lounge around the house while Spot rubs your feet and brings you all the weird foods you want. Or do I have to drop by and explain that to him?"

"He doesn't rub my feet, but he's been pretty good about the whole thing, I yell at him a lot for no reason and he puts up with it." She said with a shrug. "He rubs my back though cause at night it kills me."
She took another bite of Race's french toast. "Next time I'm getting french toast...with ice cream."

"Lina-or-Sean is gonna have quite the sweet tooth," he said with a grin, moving a little pile of French toast away from her with his fork and proceeding to wolf it down himself. "So where exactly do you keep the teddy bear?"

"It's not hidden, Spot knows I have it, it's in the bedroom on the windowsill. Why?" Raven raised an eyebrow at him, "oh no no, don't even think about it. He'll kill you."

"Who's thinking about anything?" Race gave her the innocent puppy eyes as he polished off the last of his meal, and a small corner of her waffle as well. "I just asked a simple question."

"It's never a simple question with you," She said with a laugh. "You're always plotting something else."
