Teddy sighed, letting her down. Sometimes she was such a strong female; he respected it, but he also wanted to treat her right.

"I think I have some of your shirts in here somewhere..." said Adri as she headed straight towards her closet, changing out of her dress while her eyes scanned what he could possibly wear for the night.

Teddy rummaged through her closet, as well, finding an old t-shirt he vaguely remembered. "Hey...I haven't seen this in years. Why...?"

"Hey!" muttered Adri, blushing slightly. "It's not my fault! We broke up when I was in California and you were here, remember? You gave me your shirts before I left... and I wasn't about to throw them away."

Teddy smiled slightly, glancing over at Adrianne. "So, you never really hated me, did you? If you had, you would've thrown them out."

Already changed into her sweatshirt and shorts, Adri began wiping her makeup off with a wet towel. She couldn't help but smirk once she heard Teddy's comment.
"Why? Did you throw out anything I gave you?" she smiled, turning to face him.

Teddy scoffed. "No, of course not." He undid his bow tie after taking off his suit jacket and started unbuttoning his shirt.

Teddy shook his head, smiling. He took off his shirt, throwing it on the floor - who cares if it gets wrinkled? He then undid his pants and stepped out of them, throwing on the old t-shirt. Finally, he went to quickly brush his teeth.

Adri stepped aside to let Teddy use the sink. Instead of going over to the bed, she wrapped her arms from behind him and sighed happily.

Teddy brushed his teeth with one hand and put his free hand on Adri's, rubbing her arm.

Adri smiled, closing her eyes as she waited for Teddy to finish up, wanting nothing more than to lie down in bed.

Once he'd rinsed his mouth out, he turned around and picked her up again. He didn't care if she rolled her eyes at him. "Come on, Sleeping Beauty," he said softly, carrying her to her bedroom.

"Just let me be your Prince Charming tonight, hmm?" he whispered into her ear as he approached her bed. He set down gently before going to turn off the light.
