Kathryn smiled the whole way to the front desk, clasping Tyler's hand and resting her cheek on his bicep. The clerk behind the desk checked them in, gave them their keys, and winked when he told them there had just been a cancellation for the chapel tonight, in one hour's time.

Tyler gave a bit of a goofy grin, pleased that they had upgraded their room and offered a free bottle of champagne. He held onto Kathryn's hand as they went up the elevator's to their room, going straight to the windows once they were inside. "Damn, baby, come look at this view." They had a corner room, with an amazing view of the strip.

Kathryn walked over to stand next to him, her nose basically glued to the glass.
"Wow..." she said softly, her eyes wide. "So beautiful."

He turned from the window to look at her, eyes soft, voice low. "Yer tellin' me..." He pulled her to him, brushing hair from her eyes. "We'd better get ready and go, otherwise, we ain't never leavin' this room..."

"Right," she nodded, though a chill was running up and down her spine at his touch. She kissed him quickly before retrieving her dress, shoes, and make-up bag from her suitcase.
Making their way down to the chapel, Kathryn was pulled away by an attendant into the special bridal room. There she changed, re-vamped her make-up, and styled her hair into a low, loose bun. By the time she was finished, there was only five minutes left until the ceremony.

Tyler more or less felt like he was going to throw up. He wanted this, he wanted her -- absolutely. Knowing that didn't stop him from being nervous, though. He was getting married. To Kathryn. Right now. He stood at the alter in his gray suit and blue shirt, looking like a good ol' boy who'd gotten a dapper makeover. He fidgeted a bit on his feet, looking towards the door, anxious to see her.

The attendant had given her a bouquet of dark red roses and ushered her to the door of the chapel. She heard music starting to play, and as if by magic, the door opened. She looked up and met Tyler's eye, immediately smiling.

Tyler all but melted at the sight of her. If he'd been a weaker man he might have cried. He smiled at her widely as she approached the alter, mouthing a "hi" at her. He could feel his grandmother's ring practically burning a hole in his pocket.

Everything was a complete blur. She remembered saying 'I do,' and she remembered hearing Tyler say the same (she actually sighed with relief when he did). Then, all of a sudden, they were kissing. And married. When did this happen?!

His head was swimming, feeling nothing but joy and her lips. When he finally pulled back, he just looked at her with soft eyes. "How bout we just get room service tonight, Mrs. McGowan?" He liked the sound of his last name for her.

Kathryn seriously almost cried when he said that. For years she had imagined becoming Mrs. McGowan, and now that she actually was, it was completely surreal.
"I think that's a good idea," she replied before the departing music started to play. They walked back down the aisle, arm in arm, and made way for the next anxious (or drunk) couple.

As they exited the elevator on their floor, he scooped her up into his arms and carried her down the hall. Deftly opening the door to their room, he carried her over the threshold, grinning like a madman. She was his. All his. Finally.

Kathryn was so happy, she seriously felt like giggling. But she restrained herself, only allowing herself to smile like a crazy person. Her hands were clasped tightly around his neck, though she knew she didn't have to hold on because he would never drop her.
Once they were inside, her crazy smile turned into a sly one and she raised one eyebrow. "Shall I go change into something more...comfortable?"

Tyle arched a brow at her, the corner of his mouth twitching upwards. He set her down, eyeing her, clearly interested. "Something more...comfortable?" He nodded, licking his lips. "Yes, please." He kissed her, then winked and gave her butt a quick swat of affection, laughing.

Kathryn bit her lip, eyeing him slyly, before making her way back to the bedroom. Instead of rejoining him in the living room area, she opened the bedroom door before lying down on the bed, propping herself up with one shoulder.
"Oh, dear husband of mine!" she called, pulling her hair over one shoulder. She looked down at her black silk and lace slip, knowing he would approve of her change in clothes.
