She made a contented noise and snuggled against him, then shivered. "It's kind of cold up here, though," she said lazily, and turned her head to grin at him. "Funny how I didn't notice that before..."

She sighed and sat up too, reaching for her clothes. She was still lightheaded. "Can we bring the whiskey?" she asked hopefully, wriggling back into her underwear.

Tara pulled on her skirt and blouse, fastening just enough buttons for decency. She made a halfhearted attempt to tame the mess she'd made of her curls, then gave up, grabbed the bottle of wine in one hand and Jack's hand in the other, and led him down the stairs in a not-entirely-straight line.

"Sssh," He warned and then smiled at Tara. Everyone was probably asleep and Kloppman would lose his mind he knew Jack was bringing random girls down from the roof.

Tara tried her best to be quiet as they made their way through the bunkroom, though she didn't have the easy grace of her friend Wraith and very nearly crashed into the door before she managed to open it. "Where are we going?" she whispered kind of loudly, pulling him out into the hall.

Jack tried not to laugh but did anyway, he covered her mouth with his hand and shook his head. "Infirmary," he whispered. He sure as hell wasn't sleeping with this girl in his bunk.

"Okay!" Tara followed him toward the infirmary, her hair a mess and half her buttons undone, still clutching the bottle of whiskey. She frowned as they drew closer; she thought she could hear voices inside, but she decided it must be the booze.

Somewhere in the darkness, a baby began to wail. And then a very sleepy, very grumpy Macbeth sat up straight, lit a lamp, saw Jack Kelly and some redheaded floozy creeping into the room, and growled, "What the hell do you think you're doing!?"

Macbeth's eyebrows rose very slowly. "You catch on quick, don't you?" she said sarcastically. "At last count, there are two goddamn babies living in this lodging house. Are you really s'posta be the leader or something?"
"Aww, she's cute!" Tara squealed in delight, marching over to Jo and patting her on the head, completely ignoring Beth's death glare. Jo immediately stopped crying and looked up at her with big, watery blue eyes, then grabbed her nose.

Jack cleared his throat, "Been a little preoccupied lately and just cause I'm the leader don't mean I'm in everyone's business. I know the other kid is Rae's cause I let her stay here." Jack ran his fingers through his hair.
"She is cute though."
