Maggie laughed softly, bring his arm up around her to kiss his fingers. "Who knew all it took was a butt wiggle against your crotch."

Kathryn got out of bed to put on her pajamas (she made a mental note to buy something far sexier tomorrow), wash her face, and brush her teeth. Once her nighttime regime was complete, she got back in bed.
Teddy chuckled into her hair. "Well, it's a really, really nice butt."

Tyler had moved just enough to put on boxers, and was already back in bed, arm drapped over his eyes. "Come 'ere, baby."
Maggie blushed, giggling. She pulled on his arm to tug him closer to her, wanting to feel him pressed up against her.

Kathryn crawled over to him, snuggling up against his side. She wondered if she would be able to sleep soundly tonight.
Teddy got as close to her as he possibly could, his body flush against hers. After just a couple of minutes, his breathing was deep as he slept, far better than he'd slept in many months.

((Back, kinda. I'll be in and out )) Tyler and Katheryn's New York Adventure had come and gone, and they had settled themselves in their little suburban house in Vermont. Tyler had found work at an insurance agency, where he was bored out of his mind, but making good money. Good enough that he brought home flowers for Kathryn on a fairly regular basis. Tonight was one of those nights. "Sugar? Ya home?" Maggie and Teddy had settled into their new lives together well. They'd gotten married at the San Francisco court house, and his family had even come to town for it. It wasn't much of a wedding, but it had all the things that counted. And today was Daisy's first birthday, which meant Maggie was in the kitchen, putting the final touches on a chocolate cake with bright pink frosting. |

"I'm upstairs!" Kathryn cried out, huffing and stomping her foot. She was trying on every single piece of clothing in her wardrobe - pants, skirts, dresses - and none of them fit anymore. She wasn't huge yet, but she was big enough to not own anything at all wearable.
Teddy rushed into the kitchen after Daisy, who had run in there just seconds before (albeit a bit unsteadily). "No, stop -- Daisy!" Right before she ran into the cabinet door, Teddy scooped her up and blew raspberries on her stomach, causing a loud fit of giggles to erupt from the birthday girl's mouth.

Tyler headed up stairs, roses clutched in one hand while the other loosened his tie. God, he hated having to wear a tie. When he saw the state of the bedroom, he hesitated in the doorway. "Jesus...why'd the closet explode..?"
Maggie laughed, watching them. "See. Don't you regret teaching her how to walk." She set her icing spatula down and went to them, kissing Daisy, then Teddy. "I can't believe she's a year old. I still haven't lost the baby weight yet."

Kathryn pouted, one of her favorite skirts on, but not zipped all the way up. Because she couldn't. "Nothing fits!" she whined, her eyes sparkling with tears yet to be shed.
"Well, if I have anything to do with it, you'll just gain it all back real soon," Teddy replied, smirking and kissing her again.

Tyler's eyebrows shot up. Oh, boy, here it comes. It seemed like Kathryn cried over everything lately. He walked over carefully, like he was trying to avoid stepping on a landmine. "It's alright, Sugar...here. I got you roses." He held them out to her.
Maggie flushed, smiling brightly at him as she held Daisy's hand. "Oh, really?"

Kathryn looked up at Tyler like he was an actual Prince Charming. She took them from him, smelling them, admiring them. "You still love me?" she squeaked, a tear leaking from her eye. "Even though nothing I own fits me?"
Teddy nodded, a somewhat smug expression on his face. "Huh, Daisy? How'd ya like to have a sibling?"

Tyler put on a solemn expression, trying desperately not to snort with laughter. He nodded gravely. "I will always love you, Kat. Especially when nothing fits you."
Maggie laughed as Daisy reached up and grabbed his nose. "You sure you want two of these?" She smiled at him, kissing him before taking the cake to the table, digging in a drawer for candles and matches.

Kathryn set the roses down on her vanity and walked to him, wrapping her arms around his waist and burying her face in his chest. "I love you, too..." she mumbled, sniffing. "But what am I supposed to wear?!"
Teddy carried Daisy over to the kitchen table, strapping her in her high chair. "I mean, only if you do..." he said seriously, glancing over at her.
