That little growl made Moonshine gulp, feeling a stirring in his loins. He tried his best to suppress it, giving her a weak smile.

Rose scoffed, reaching out to swat his arm. "No, I don't want to leave you. Why do you always make me out to be the bad guy when I try to do the right thing and get back home at a reasonable hour, hmm?"

He pouted pathetically out her. "'Cause I don't want ya to go. I want ya to stay. With me. And cuddle." He stuck his lower lip out even further, giving her puppy eyes.

A lesser man might have cheered out right, but Moonshine only grinned at her. He moved away long enough to get another blanket, so they had something to cover themselves with, and found a pillow. "Only one, so yer gonna have to use me as yer pillow. That okay with you?"
