She nodded, then sighed. "Finding them's not as hard as keeping them."

"Not really my area of expertise," Wraith pointed out with a bit of a smirk.

She blushed, smiling a little sheepishly. "Good point. But girls aren't all that different. We kind of suck, too."

She laughed and shook her head. "Yeah. Yeah, we really do."

She smiled, patting Wraith's hand. "I'm glad we're friends. Really. I don't really have a lot of them. I always just hung out with Sebastian. And now Skittery, I guess."

"I don't either," Wraith admitted. "And I'm glad too." She smiled at Script. "So...what's Skittery like? Or is it, uh, too awkward for me to ask that?"

She blushed, but she wasn't kidding when she said she was glad they were friends. Regardless of Goblin. "He's really nice. He can be grumpy sometimes, but it's part of his charm. He makes me laugh." She bit her lip. "He makes me forget."

Wraith nodded. "I can understand that. But...I still kind of hope it doesn't turn serious with you two. Is that terrible of me?"

She had to laugh at that, smiling at her. "Because you want me and your brother to work it out?"

She nodded sheepishly. "He was so happy, you know? You were really good for him. And the only other girl he was ever with was apparently crazy and terrifying, so..."

She frowned darkly at that. "Riddle was a bitch. I'm almost insulted that she got to him first." She sighed. "I tried to make him happy. I could never tell if I did or not."

"Trust me," Wraith said simply, "you did."

She looked out at the setting sun, sadly. "He made me happy, too. He made me feel special, beautiful." She bit her lip. "I think that's why it was so hard to find out he didn't really mean any of it, at least not in the beginning. It made me seconded guess myself, second guess us."

"Don't be ridiculous," Wraith said fondly. "You're the baking goddess. You've been to school, you speak two languages. And...and you've got the best boobs in the house!" she pointed out, blushing. Hey, it was common knowledge--and although her feelings for Maggie were strictly platonic, Wraith could hardly have failed to notice.

She laughed out-right at all that. "Well, I'm glad somebody finally noticed I was the best at something." She leaned over and hugged her, sighing as she rested her cheek on Wraith's shoulder. "Thanks, Clara. For everything."
