She angled herself towards him, looking at him, then slid her arms around his waist, pressing her lips to his shoulder. "It's just...ya have a reputation, Sean...and they think I can't handle you..."

Sean sighed heavily and then rested his hand over hers, he hung his head. "Yeah, well they should gimme a chance. I just hadn't found the right girl."

She had to smile a little at that. A week ago, he was arguing with her about not being ready to commit to one girl, that they wouldn't work. And now... "And I'm the right girl, Sean..?" She rested her chin on his shoulder, looking at his face.

She gave a little sigh, closing her eyes a minute as she moved to nuzzle against him. "I was hopin' you'd say that."

"Cause our parents didn't have parents," Sean said pointedly and then kissed her again. He curled a piece of hair behind her ear. "I know they mean well...they just wanna protect you."

The thought of them having to tell her parents, especially her father, made her nervous. She leaned in, kissing him to feel better.
