She giggled, then got up, moving to slide in next to him. She wanted to be closer to him, and she leaned her head against his shoulder.

His heart beat a little faster as he put an arm around her shoulders. He couldn't help but get a whiff of her shampoo. "You smell good."

He reached into his pocket and fished out the money for their food, putting it on the table. "Let's get outta here..."

She nodded, sliding out and taking his hand as they walked to the car. "I had a nice time, Mike. That place was good."

He agreed, holding her hand and having a small panic attack inside. When they got to his car, he stood in front of her, not opening the door just yet.

He leaned in and gently pressed his lips to hers.
