Tyler was sitting on the floor of his bedroom, playing tug-o-war with his dog, when Rose called. He grinned as he answered. He'd dreamed about her all night. "Hey, Rosie."

A smile immediately came to her face when she heard his voice. "I like how you call me that," she said, lying on her back on her bed. "I need to get out of my hotel room."

He chuckled. "You got it, Sugar. I'll be there inside an hour. Dress in somethin' ya ain't afraid to get dirty." He hung up before she could ask him why.

Rose didn't really have anything with her she wasn't afraid to get dirty, so she wore things she'd bought recently so she could easily go back and buy them again. And she realized she forgot to tell him to park near the back so they could sneak out unseen. She texted the directions to him, then peered out her window to wait for him.

Tyler did what he was told and headed up to her room, waving at her security guy as he passed him in the hall before knocking on her door.

She opened the door almost immediately, her eyes twinkling as she smiled at him. "What're we doing?!"

He laughed, pulling her into a hug and kissing her cheek. "Come on and I'll tell ya."

She followed him out into the hall, down the elevator, then out the back entrance of the hotel. She had checked for any stray fans or photographers, of course. Which reminded her; she'd have to have The Talk with Tyler later. But not now.

He helped her into his truck, then headed out of the city and back into the countryside, to his family's farm. "My folks ain't home. Neither are my sisters." He glanced over at her. "Wanted to take ya out on the 4-wheeler. To the pond."

"I bet you take all the girls out to the pond on the 4-wheeler, huh?" she asked with a slight smirk.

He blushed. "Actually, most girls don't like it much. Sometimes it can get a little muddy." He parked his truck, leading her to the 4-wheeler. "Wait here, just a minute." He ran inside and when he came back out, he had a backpack. "Mama made us lunch to take."

She looked up at him, staring (though she preferred to call it 'studying'), a slight smile on her lips. "You just live the perfect Kentucky life, don't you, Tyler McGowan?"

He blushed again, but shot her a charming grin. "Maybe not perfect, but pretty damn close." He put the backpack onto her back, then got onto the 4-wheeler, helping her get on behind him so she could hold his waist. "Ready?"

She held on tightly, reveling in the fact that she could feel his well-defined muscles as she held onto him. "Go for it," she replied, holding on a bit tighter in preparation.

He gunned it, taking off, driving it through the field behind his house and towards the woods. He tried very hard to concentrate on driving, and not the feeling of her arms around him and her body pressed tightly against his.
