Tyler answered the door, then stared at her. "Rosie? What're ya doin' here?" When he hadn't heard from her, he thought for sure he'd lost his chance.

He blinked, gaping. "I--" That's when Bonnie went to see who was at the door, and started screaming when she saw Rose. Mary Alice dashed out of the kitchen and started jumping up and down.
"What in the hell...oh!" Tyler's mom came out and stared. "Well, I'll be...Tyler don't just make her stand there, let that poor girl in. Bonnie, stop screaming."
Tyler nodded dumbly, and let Rose inside.

Rose chuckled to herself, setting her guitar case aside and giving the girls hugs. "It's so nice to see you again," she told them before turning to his mom. "Hi, I'm Rose Howard," she said somewhat shyly, sticking her hand out.

Delia McGowan smiled at her and pulled her into a hug. "Hello! I've heard so much about you. And not just from the girls." She looked pointedly over at Tyler, who blushed pink.

Rose also blushed, but then remembered why she was here. "I was wondering if maybe Bonnie and Mary Alice wanted sing some songs with me? I brought my guitar..."

Bonnie and Mary Alice squealed and started making room in the living room so they could all sit around and sing.
Tyler cleared his throat, moving to stand beside her. "I thought I wasn't ever gonna see ya again..."

"Well, you thought wrong..." She grabbed her guitar case and went to sit on her designated spot on the couch. She nodded at Tyler, telling him to come join.

He gave her a lopsided smile, then moved to sit beside her, angling towards her to see her better. Tyler's mom called his older brothers, and they were headed to the house with their wives and babies.

They sang a few of her songs together, Bonnie and Mary Alice taking the lead during many parts. But then Rose cleared her throat. "So, I just wrote a new song, and I was wondering if I could sing it for you guys, to see what you think?"

By this time, Tyler's whole family was sitting around the living room, and Tyler stiffened. New song? The song about him? Oh, good lord...
But how was he supposed to argue when everyone was urging her on excitedly?
