"Agreed." Maggie carried the turkey in from the kitchen, setting it in front of Ryan, then handing him a knife. "Here you go, baby." She smiled at him, leaning up to kiss his cheek. "You guys can go to the kitchen and serve yourself all the sides you want while he's carving."
--
Tyler nodded and got up, carrying his plate to the kitchen. He smiled back at Adri as she followed him. "They're sort of ridiculously cute together, right?"

"Are you sure you want me to do this?" said Ryan cautiously as he held the knife. "I know how hard you worked on it all day."
--
"It's like they're married already," she chuckled, reaching over to put some mashed potatoes on her plate. "But it is cute. It's good to see Ryan incredibly happy instead of him constantly pining over her." She chuckled as she looked through the appetizer choices that Maggie set out.

Maggie laughed. "You're not gonna ruin it, Ryan. Here, lemme help." She stuck the serving fork into the bird to hold it steady while he sliced.
--
He smirked, piling his plate with mashed potatoes before digging into the green beans. "He's been in love with her for ages." He leaned in close to her, conspiratorially, "Ya know...between you and me...I don't think that whole marriage thing is too far away..."

"Okay, I got it," he nodded once he finished slicing the first piece. "Go get some food, you must be hungry -- I can take care of this."
--
"I don't blame you, I definitely agree," she chuckled, looking up at him only to realize how close they were. "W-want some cranberry sauce?"

Maggie handed over the fork, then leaned up to kiss his jaw, nipping just a little with her teeth, to tease him, then headed off to the kitchen.
--
He blinked down at her, their noses almost touching. He leaned down just a little more, then stood up straight, clearing his throat and looking away when Maggie walked in. "Yeah. Cranberry sauce sounds good, thanks." He let Adri serve him some, then moved back to the dining room, setting down his plate and sitting in a chair.

Ryan froze once he felt Maggie's kiss. When he realized that she'd walk away, he shook his head at her and called out, "Hey, not fair!" He laughed softly, finishing off a couple more pieces before glancing over at Tyler. "You alright?"
--
"Mags! Hey!" grinned Adri the minute Tyler was gone. She grabbed a spoonful of yams and wondered whether she saw what just happened. "Everything looks so good. You're going to make me fat, I swear."

Maggie rolled her eyes. "Oh, please, Adri. You could stand to put on a couple pounds." She served herself, shooting her a glance. "So...you and Tyler...?"
--
Tyler gave him a look, saying in a low voice. "Ya got into my head. Ya filled me with all kinds a' crazy ideas, and now I can't get rid of 'em."

"I don't know," she shrugged, looking at her friend helplessly. "It's all Ryan's fault -- I didn't start looking at him like that until now... Mags, I held his hand when I got out of his truck. Really, what's wrong with me?"
--
"That just means you agree and that you like her," smirked Ryan knowingly, gesturing for his plate so that he could put a piece of turkey on it. "Admit it! I was right!"

Maggie cooed, grinning at her. "Aww, that's cute! You guys are totally perfect for each other! Ryan and I talk about it all the time."
--
Tyler grumbled, frowning, but held his plate out for turkey. "Look, just 'cause you and Maggie are all in love or whatever, don't mean I wanna be."

"You two just want us together 'cause you want another couple to hang out with," she teased, smirking at her. "So, by the look of things, I'm guessing you two are doing good, then?" '
--
"But you do like her, don't you?" pressed Ryan, curious as to how he was going to respond.

Maggie sighed wistfully. "Oh, Adri, I can't even tell you how amazing he is. It's been 8 months, and it feels like forever." She bit her lip. "I'm completely in love with him. I just haven't told him."
--
Tyler frowned. "Well, no shit, I like her. It doesn't matter, she don't like me."

"You haven't told him?" she repeated, looking at her in awe. "You know that he's head over heels for you, right? You should tell him! He'll be so happy, Mags."
--
"Really? Are you sure?" said Ryan, quirking an eyebrow at him. "Adri's not as blunt as everyone is about her feelings, you never know."

Maggie blushed. "Maybe I will. Maybe tonight." She smiled at her, then headed back to the dining room. "Go serve yourself, Ryan. We'll wait for you."
--
Tyler didn't respond, just frowned down at his plate when the girls came back in.

Ryan shot Tyler a look before grabbing his plate and disappearing to grab some appetizers. Within minutes, he was back and his plate was already half-full. "Alright, I'm ready."
--
"You okay?" whispered Adri as she took a seat next to Tyler. "What's wrong?"

Maggie smiled, setting her hand on Ryan's knee once he was sitting down next to her. "Well, then let's dig in."
--
Tyler cleared his throat, lifting his head to send Adri a smile. "Aw, I'm fine, Sugar. Just hungry." He winked at her, then started to eat.
