He looked at her and then nodded, swallowing hard. Jesus...man he need to talk to Tristan, that kid already had a brood of his own and he seemed okay. "Yea...yea let's just...do it I guess." He half smiled.

She bit her lip, tilting her face up to look at him. "Do--do you love me, Jimmy...?" For the first time, she sounded innocent, and sounded as young as she was.

She nodded, smiling a little. "That's good enough for me, Jimmy." She leaned up, pressing her lips to his jaw, letting them linger there a moment.

She swallowed back a lump in her throat, pulling herself into his lap, kissing him, whispering, "Jimmy, I was scared...I thought--I wouldn't have been able to say goodbye..."

She kissed him back, shifting to straddle his lap. She kissed him desperately, shutting her eyes tight, a few tears falling down her cheeks. She believed him when he said that.

He brushed her tears away with him thumbs and then looked into her eyes. "Please don't cry..." He said and wrapped one arm around her, holding her close.
