David had been standing awkwardly by the refreshment table, nursing a cup of spiked punch, but he caught Zippy's waved and came over. "Hey." He leaned in, kissing Zippy's temple.

David gave Rae a sheepish smile and a wave. Everything he'd ever heard about her had been intimidating. "Hi. Nice to meet you."

"Hey! Nice to meet you too," Raven smiled at him and then shook his hand. She was in a friendly mood today.
"First things first," She said a little sternly, "you treat my friend right or I swear I'll punch you." She smiled.

Zippy laughed, sipping champagne. "raven was the one who taught me how to fight," zippy shared, looking fondly at her friend. Even though she had originally asked Tristan, he was more than occupied at the time. But she didn't mention that part.

David didn't exactly like the idea of Zippy having to fight anybody, and he frowned a little. "Yeah, now that you're at the bookstore, you won't need to, uh, punch anybody..."

Zippy smiled. "Let's hope not." Although she still lived in the LH, and most of the people she wanted to punch were her own bunkmates.
