Zippy frowned, and climbed into David's lap. "alright, love. Tell me what you think I should do differently." she stroked his cheek and cuddled her small body into him. She didn't want them to fight

"Aww, Dave, I didn't know" She hugged him and kissed his cheek. "I'm sorry. I'm really happy though. Eli is great, except for the whole stealing thing. But I sorta get it, I've stolen too, only I didn't rob people with a knife. He feels sorry about that though."

"Yeah, I think so. He's gotta find a job though. I convinced him to sell papers while he looks. Apparently his roommate is sick and he desperately needed money for medicine for the guy, which is why he was robbing us. I loaned him some for now," Zippy explained, running a hand through David's curls.

Zippy rolled her eyes. "Because he didn't ask. I offered. Dave, you should spend some time with him. He's amazing, its important that you guys get along. Eli isn't going anywhere. PLUS- and this is the best part- I think I'm going to move in with him and Luke. Isn't that great?"

"Yeah, I know." She beamed at him. "Finally a home! I loaned him the rest of my money, so it'll be awhile, and their apartment is in Brooklyn which is blah, but I think I can convince them to move here." She took his face in her hands. "Can ya belive it Dave? I'll have my own room! We'll have so much privacy! No more sneaking around.."

Zippy blinked at him for a second, and then burst out laughing. She scooted off him, laughing, tears building in her eyes. "Really, Dave? REALLY?" She laughed again, shaking her head.
