Eli chuckled, tossing a broken peanut in the air and catching it in his mouth. "You take risks. I like that." He did a drum roll on his legs. "Behind Door #2 is....another day of adventures with me!" he cocked a grin at her. "Oh, do I have more plans for you, Sugar."

She giggled, snuggling against him as the ring master came out. "Right. An adventure." She took his hand, linking their fingers together.

Eli glanced at her for a minute, before turning his attention back at the circus, the music overwhelming him. He'd actually never been to the circus before, and as the entertainers poured out, he realized just how excited he was.

Trixie laughed and cheered and clapped along accordingly. She even allowed herself to cling to Eli's arm and gasp at the high wire act.
