((Haha, no worries!)) Trixie held his hand tightly as she ran with him, trying not to worry about getting caught.

Once they were away from the train, Eli realized just how goddamn warm it was. He glanced up at the sky, exhilarated. "We're in Florida."

She blinked at him, then laughed. "What happened to getting off in North Carolina?" She squeezed his hand, stopping them so she could kiss his lips.

"You tired me out, woman." Eli replied as an explanation, smiling. "C'mon, lets try to find the beach. I hear sunrises from there are special or something," he joked, taking her hand and following the smell of the fresh air.

She giggled and drapped her coat and quilt over her arm as they walked. "Never been to the beach before. The one we got don't count."

"Great. Then dragging you halfway across the country in a smelly, dusty freight train doesn't seem quite as ridiculous anymore," Eli commented, as they walked. It was weird being somewhere that wasn't completely surrounded by buildings and people. He hoped Trixie was enjoying it, because it was sort of making him uncomfortable. But he loved the beach.

Trixie was wide-eyed and beaming a she took in the sights, sounds and smells. It was sunny and warm, but not hot. There was a breeze, and it smelled like salt water instead of rotting garbage. "Can we just stay here forever," she sighed.

"If only we could, Sunshine," Eli sighed, finally making out the water in the distance. "You hungry?"

She nodded. "I got my sellin' money on me. Can we find a bag or something to put this in, too? Too warm to need it." She gestured at her coat and the stolen quilt.

"I'll hold those. I took some of the food off the train," he told her, giving her the bag of stolen food.

She handed them to him, nodding, trading him for the bag of food. "Smart idea. How long we gonna stay here?"

Eli smiled at her. "However long you want, Princess." Although he wanted to say just for the day. Then they had to take the train back, which would easily take a day.

She smiled up at him. "You have a new job, Eli. You can't really miss it." But she appreciated that he was trying to make her happy.

"Alright. We'll catch a train back tonight, then," Eli remarked, his mind already swimming of ways that they can jump on a passenger train. Freight trains were fun, but so was manipulation.

"But for now..." She smiled, pulling away as the beach got closer. "For now I want a picnic on the beach. And I wanna make out in the sand." She laughed and took off running for the shore.
