Trixie was about to take a drink, but paused, glancing at him. Eli liked her? Well, as friends, clearly. She took a long drink of her wine.

She nodded. "It was real nice! Warm, and pretty." She sighed a little wistfully. "Wish we coulda' had more time. I wanted to go swimmin' in it."

She nodded, smiling over her drink. "That'd be nice. Eli said he wanted to go again, on a real vacation." She looked down in her glass, then frowned when she realized she was daydreaming about it.

She laughed softly, letting her finger trace lazy circles on his arm. She subtly signaled the bar tender to refill his glass.

Luke was getting a bit tipsy which was fine because it made whatever she was doing to his arm feel even more incredible. He looked at her, "I can't dance with you, Hon. I'm sorry."
