The corner of her mouth twitched, but she refused to frown, just sent him another sweet smile. "So what if I am? Eli doesn't own me. It's not up to him what I do."

Luke chuckled, falling over his feet a little before getting the hang of it. "Yeah, this isn't bad." Actually, Luke was a terrific dancer, but between the nerves and the booze, he wasn't his best.

She smiled up at him, letting her fingers play with the hair on the back of his neck as they danced. Luke was sweet, and cute...and most importantly, not Eli.

She scrunched her nose cutely at him, smiling. It made sense why Luke and Eli were so close -- they were similar in a lot of ways.
But she would NOT think about Eli.
