Risk stared at the Annie's Bakery window display. He sighed, stuffing his hands in his pockets and reaching for his wallet. His mouth watered as he looked at the eclairs, cream tarts, meringue cake, quiches, croissants and breads.
He'd had a tough day at work today, dealing with tough cases at the office and covering up his tracks as a newsie. He figured he deserved some sort of reward just from getting through the day. Maybe he'll even pick out something for Macbeth and Jo... just 'cause.

Tristan happened to walk into the bakery and found just the person he was looking for. He needed some help in the cover up department and Risk was just the guy. Joseph's gang had nearly beaten his wife to death and Tristan was planning on taking out their entire operation. He needed Risk to make it look like the gang never even existed.

Risk's concentration between an eclair and cream puff was suddenly broken when he saw a familiar face. He'd never forget him anywhere after the Eastman ordeal.
"Uh, Tristan, right?"

"Yeah, I gotta talk to you." Tristan said.

Risk sighed. Sweets we're going to have to wait.
He walked towards a nearby alley and leaned against the wall. "Something wrong? Someone bothering you and the kids?"

"You know Joseph's gang, the Jewish kids? They took my wife," Tristan said, leaning against the wall. "I'm gonna kill them and I want you to make sure it goes unnoticed."

Risk blinked, trying to stay calm. He wondered when he'd be done with covering these things up. Then again, he owed Tristan for helping out when they took back Ershey.
"You gave 'em any reason to take your wife?" he asked cautiously.

"Cause I killed their leader, so they all want to get back at me, fucking idiots." Tristan said and lit a cigarette.

"And why'd you go and kill him?" asked Risk patiently, raising an eyebrow at him.

"He knocked Zippy up and then beat the shit out of her so bad she lost the baby," Tristan said plainly

"Yeah, that's a good enough reason," nodded Risk, stuffing his hands into his pockets and trying to think of a way out of this so that everyone can be happy. "When did they take her? Anyone else know? You planning on recruiting any more people?"

"Just me and Jimmy, and it happened earlier this morning. She's gotta be down in the Jewish part of the lower east side" he said matter of factly.

"Got a plan?" he asked, the wheels already turning in his head. If he just wanted him to help cover it up, he can get a head start now but he needed to know what he was thinking. But if he wanted to actually have him go there and get Zippy, it'd take longer than he planned.

"I gotta get my wife outta there wherever they are." he said with a sigh. "if you get the cops to come after awhile and just get rid of the ones I don't kill and then clean up the mess, it'll be fine."

"I can round up a couple people," said Risk, already have some people in mind who would love to get in on busting a crime scene. "You just gotta be done when I get there. There someone you want to pin this on? Them, obviously?"
