"Says who?" Pasha asked with a shrug. "The way I see it, is you wait until you find someone you are attracted to, you feel strongly about. Unfortunately, you do not always marry that person."
He paused, smiling at her playfully. "Besides, you are prettier than any whore out there, princess."

Annabelle stood up, shivering and wet, and reached for her bathrobe. Usually one of the maids would dry her off, but since Pasha had been in there with her they were clearly avoiding the bathroom completely.
She stepped out of the tub, smiling at him. "I will give you a key to my bedroom door. I had Daddy build me a porch when I was 12 because Mary Lou Walters had a porch all to herself and would always rub it in my face. Point is, you should drop by anytime." She handed him a towel.

"I just may," Pasha told her with a grin. He accepted the towel and stood up. He got up out of the bathtub and dried himself off. "I would be crazy not to want to spend time with a girl as beautiful as you, Annabelle."
He took a step closer to her, his forehead wrinkled. "Your maids will not say anything to your father, will they?"

Annabelle smiled at him. She couldn't believe she was able to snag herself a prince before any of the other society girls got their hands on him. Now to keep him a secret and keep him interested. She walked over, kissing him on the mouth.
