"Ya wanna marry me again?" Eli smiled at her, running a hand through her hair, and kissing her. "Tell ya what, Kitten. If my play is a success, I'll give ya your dream wedding. Duncan could be the ring bearer. It would be adorable."
He had always wanted to do that, anyway. Especially since there first wedding was so small- they practically eloped, with Luke, Charlotte, David and Erin as witnesses. It was fine, perfect for Eli. But he'd always wondered what Trixie would truly have wanted.

She laughed. "Wouldn't even suggest anything else." She kissed him fully, holding him. "Maybe after the baby. So I can get skinny again."

Eli grabbed the bridge of his nose, closing his eyes and shaking his head. "NO NO NO!"
He slammed the table and looked back at the stage, all the cast and crew and looking at him with tired eyes. "Let's just...take 5." he shook his head. "10. Make it 10." he plopped down on his director's chair, sighing loudly again.

This is what Trixie walked in on when she decided to come to the theater with Duncan to visit. She winced a little, hearing Eli yell, but she set Duncan down, whispering. "Go. Run to Daddy. Make him better." So Duncan did, his walk now less of a wobble and more of a full steam ahead. "DA!"
