Eli glanced over at the sound of Duncan and immediately scooped him up in his arms, hugging him. "Hey Tiger. You been good today for your Mama?"

Duncan giggled and said, "Yup!" It was one of his new favorite words, one of a handful he was starting to say regularly.
Trixie smiled, walking over to them, her baby bump evident now that she was pushing five months. "Hey, baby. Bad day at the office?"

Eli chuckled, kissing Duncan then looking up at Trixie, pulling her to him for a kiss. "Something ain't right. With the cast. It ain't clicking together like I thought it would."
Zippy, would had been painting the set, came over to join them, smiling at Trixie and stealing Duncan in her arms.

Zippy laughed and ruffled Eli's hair as he sat there pouting. "How are you doin', Trix?" She felt her own stomach. "I've had the worst morning sickness, but its not the morning- its all the time!"
Eli glanced between his two women. He and David had been avoiding them being in the same room because it was just way too many pregnancy hormones. "Trix, it ain't Annie- she's alright as Susanne. But yes, you would be dazzling up there. It's everything- I think the ending is wrong."

Trixie nodded at Zippy. "Oh, with Duncan it wasn't so bad, but with this one...yikes! I'm not feeling it so bad now. Give it another few weeks and you'll be fine. Ya know, they say the sickness is worse when it's a girl..." She grinned at her, then turned to Eli. "Aw, honey, the ending's fine. But if ya wanna change it, ain't no harm."

She rolled her eyes. "Geez, Eli, would ya let the kid just turn two before ya start drivin' him to drink?" She laughed, kissing him. "When are you gonna come home?"

Eli shrugged. "rehersal supposed to go to 6 tonight, but I might keep them later. You should get up there and show Annie how to really sing her song, Trix. " Eli placed Duncan on his knee and handed him a yo-yo.

Zippy shook her head. "Trix, you look great. And Eli, stop being a perfectionist. And I know exactly what the problem is."
Eli glared at his sister. "Please. Enlighten me with your knowledge"
"There's not enough chemistry between your Susanne and your Henry. You casted the on talent, instead of...chemistry." Erin shrugged and took the yo-yo from Duncan, showing him how to use it.

Trixie nodded. "She might be right. Keep Annie, 'cause I like her, but maybe have the guy playing Henry switch parts with the guy playing Alan. He keeps makin' eyes at Annie. If he wants her in real life, surely he can want her on stage."

Eli considered this. "Johnny isnt as experienced as Robert." But he really hadn't thought about chemistry, and figured it was worth a shot. He gave Trixie a fond look, and held his hand out to her. "That's a good idea baby. I'll see if it works." His hand rubbed her stomach.

Eli brought her hand to his mouth, kissing it. "yes ma'am". He watched her leave with Duncan.
He came home at 7:00, all smiles. "such a good idea, Natalie! Johnny and Annie together are perfect!"
