((SHE'S NOT! hahha. i'm still attached to our earilier angsty plot bunny with them. and it looks like Trixie and Eli may be breaking up in the real time  )) Eli met Luke for a drink. Luke and Lottie were still struggling to make a baby. It was actually really sad- Char even delivered two stillborns- so usually Eli preferred to avoid venting to him about anything. But he was depressed, and David was probably home sleeping with his wife and kid, so... "Remember the days when we could just go? Anywhere. Ride the rail and end up in the middle of god only knows wiht a few quarters in our pants? It was the best time in the world," Eli reflected to him. Luke frowned. "You can still do that. You have the money to do it now. Take the whole family." "Lori's too young. And Trixie nags." Eli grumbled, sipping on his beer. "Me and Lottie....we can take the kids for a few days. Doesn't your show wrap up tomorrow? Give Trixie a honeymoon. It's your wedding anyway." Luke suggested. Eli considered this. "Well...Lori is still feeding, but maybe for a few days we can bottle her milk..." Eli said this so casually. He glanced at Luke. "You'd really do that for me?" "Sure. We love those kids." Luke said, kind of sadly. "Lottie would really like it." "She's pregnant again, isn't she?" eli asked, concerned. "Yeah. If we get through the month, it will be the longest she's been." Eli came back home late, crawling back into bed and cuddling into Trixie's back. |

((I don't know where all this angst came from!! But I kind of love it... AND OMG POOR LUKE AND LOTTIE!!!!))
Trixie's cheeks were still tear stained, but she instinctively leaned back against him, pulling his arm around her, waking up slowly.

((I'M SORRY! I HAD TO. Plus I figured it made more sense for Eli to be itching to run around instead of cheating.))
Eli kissed her neck. "I love you," he whispered, so grateful for her and their kids. "We are so lucky."

Eli kissed her, holding her tightly, and fell asleep.
The next day, Eli went to a travel agent and arranged for them to take a vacation to the Caribbean. Someplace called the Bahamas....it would beautiful, and they hadn't seen the beach since their escape to Florida. Eli's play wrapped up, and Eli came home late, happy as a clam, way too excited to give Trixie her wedding gift.

Trixie had already put the kids to bed, and was sitting at her vanity, putting her damp hair up in pin curls for the morning.

Trixie raised a brow at him, smirking. "Are you drunk?" She finished with her pin curls, then turned to him. "What're ya goin' on about?"

"HERE!" He presented her the train tickets, boat tickets, and the receipt for the luxury hotel in the Bahamas. "OUR HONEYMOON!" He grinned at her, ecstatic about it.

She blinked at him, then broke into a grin. "You're crazy! Lori's still feedin'!" But she kissed him back, letting out a squeal.
