David turned beet red. "You--you wanna draw...me??"

She didn't take his hand, just lifted her eyes to look at him sadly. "Are we just playin' at all this, Eli? Am...am I just for right now...?"

[ELI]

Zippy hugged him close. "Yes! So badly!"

Eli frowned. "Of course not, Kitten. I love you."

[Trixie]

He wrapped his arms around her, then sighed. "I'm drunk."

Trixie chewed on her bottom lip. "Then how come you looked so upset at the idea of me movin' in?"

[Zippy]

Zippy tilted her head up at him. "Is that a yes then?"

"I'm not upset, Sweets, I was just shocked. Surprised, ya know? I'm not ready for a step like that..." Eli told her, reaching out for her again.

[Trixie]

David cleared his throat, but nodded. "Okay. But I don't want anybody seein' the drawing."

She finally went to him, pressing her face against his chest. "I--I don't wanna rush you or nothin'...I just...Luke and Lottie are so happy..."

[Zippy]

"Of course not. It'll be for my eyes only. So when you are 75 and old and wrinkley, I can look at that picture and be all MAN, where did the years go?" Zippy joked, squeezing him to her.

"Luke and I are totally different, Sweets. C'mon, you know that!" Eli told her, wrapping his arms around her securely.

[Trixie]

David snorted, then kissed her. "I'm sorry I yelled."

She answered in a soft voice, holding him. "I could make ya happy, Eli...real happy."

[ELI]

"I'm sorry I lied to you about it then got you to yell," Zippy said, resting her head on his chest.

"I know that, Sunshine. You do make me happy. I like what's going on, for now..." Eli told her, hoping that would fix things.

[Trixie]

He rubbed her back, his head feeling wobbly. "It's okay. But no more lies."

Trixie bit her lip, sighing a little, then nodded. "Okay..."

[Zippy]

"Uh huh..." Zippy replied, fairly confident that she was gonna be truthful as hell with him from now on. "Lets get some food in you, dear," she said, kissing his chin and leading him back into the party.

"Okay! Great!" He kissed her. "Let's go back. We dont wanna miss dinner, Lottie and Luke would know we were missing, since we are sitting at their table and all..."

[Trixie]

He followed, putting the heel of his hand to forehead. "Eli made me drink a lot."

She nodded, but her smile didn't reach her eyes. "You're right." She took his hand, leading him back out to the party.

[Zippy]

"Yes. Let's blame Eli," Erin replied, sitting him down at the table and handing him a glass of water.

Eli sat down next to Luke, and began messing with him about his beard. "Your face is so smooth! Can't believe she made you shave it..." He touched Luke's face. "Getoffme!" He slapped Eli's hand away.

[Trixie]

David drank the water, then rested his hand on her thigh. "I didn't tell you you looked pretty in that dress."

Trixie smiled a little. "I think you look handsome, Luke."

[ELI]

Zippy smiled. "thank you." she kissed him again. "Are you still mad at me?"

Luke grinned at her. "Thanks, Trixie." Eli wrapped an arm around Trixie's chair, smiling at Lottie. "You'll be missing the beard soon enough, Char."

[Trixie]

David shook his head, squeezing her thigh. "No. No, I'm not. I shouldn't a' been from the start."

Trixie leaned into Eli, tilting her face up to look at him as they were all served their dinner. "You're so handsome, Eli. I like you in a suit."
