"Ask him what he wants to do next year," Erin advised, smiling and kissing David.
Eli came back down a minute later, fresh out of the shower in a tshirt and jeans. "Miss me?" He smiled at Trixie and collapsed onto a chair, pulling her into his lap.

"Join the circus," Eli instantly replied, with a large grin.
"ELI!" Erin exclaimed, laughing.
"I'm climbing Mt. Everest with Luke. Wanna come?" Eli grinned, completely serious.

David smirked, leaning up to make like he was kissing Erin's cheek. Instead, he whispered, "Maybe she'll be good for him."
Natalie bit her lip. "Not for real. But I do the rock wall at the gym all the time."

Eli laughed. "This wont be anything like that."
"BRUNCH IS READY!" Eli's mother called, and all the kids stood up and made their way to the dining room.
"Our Sunday brunch is a big deal in my family. Mom and Dad bake omelettes, there's lox, kugel, pancakes. We go all out," Eli explained, sitting down at the table.

She blinked at the spread. "I can see that." She sat next to Eli at the table, letting her hand brush his thigh. She just wanted to feel him a little. For comfort.

Everyone began digging in.
"So. Eric. Did you find a job this week?" Charlie asked.
"No sir." Eric reported.
"you are such a bum, did you even try?!" Erin interrupted.
Eric scowled. "Shuddup. And yeah, I did."
Rachel cleared her throat. "Natalie, do you go to Eli's new school?"
"Her dad practically owns the school!" Eli said.
