Lana followed him home in silence, concentrating on the movement of her legs rather than maintaining a conversation. She let out a sigh of relief as the buildings started to become more familiar to her. "We are almost home, yes?"

Lana leaned against the desk, glancing over her shoulder occasionally. She heard a heavy set of footsteps descending the staircase and her eyes shut tightly. "It is my brother, isn't it?"

Lana let out an obvious sigh of relief, "Oh... good!" She smiled and reached for the pen to sign the ledger. "I think it was him for a moment."

"We will not be a secret, Leo," Lana promised with a quick shake of her head. "I am going to tell him the moment I see him. I... I just want to see him first before he sees me." Basically, she needed some time to figure out exactly what she was going to say before finally approaching her brother.
