She couldn't look at him; she knew she would cave with him looking at her like that. She hated doing this to him, but it had to be done. "This...this is something I need to do on my own. I don't want anybody holding my hand, like I'm some innocent little kid who can't face anything by herself. That's not me. I know what I have to do, and I'm just going to do it. I don't need anyone's help."
