"Just water, please," Sapphy requested.
The tacos were finished in about five minutes and put in the oven to heat up for a short time. Flynn hovered the entire time.
"Let's eat!" he said, finally helping as he took them out of the oven.

Raven stood on the stage, tapping her pointe shoe, waiting for the director to cue her music. She was half in costume half in workout clothes and all she could think about was the fact that her toe nails were too long because they were pressing back into her skin. She was listening to what the director had to say as he instructed Sapphy.
"You are gracious and thankful that all these people have come to dance for you, so here when you open your arm, " He demonstrated, " it's a sign of welcome."
Raven glanced at a fingernail and picked at it idly.
"Come around here and then you sit to watch the performances...OKAY from the top!"
"Finally," Raven said and she heard a snort from her partner.

Raven half smiled at her.
"Cue bluebird," The director said and wandered off the side. The orchestra started to play.
Raven hurried out to the center and struck her pose, glancing sideways, stretching her neck. She worked her way through the variation, almost reaching the end when the director cut the music.
She stopped and stared at him.
"You're dancing with the personality of a wet mop," He said. "Do it again." Raven wanted to punch him in the face, but she did it again and again and again and again, until her feet were bleeding.
When rehearsal was over she collapsed next to Sapphy, lying flat on her back on the stage, staring up at the ceiling.
"I need a drink."

"Awww thanks friend!" Raven said with a smile. She sat up slowly and looked over at her. "I just feel the pressure of this...this performance either gets us into the company or not and if I don't make it then I'll have to start auditioning everywhere...what if I have to leave New York?"

"I can't help it." Raven said with a heavy sigh and untied her shoes, carefully slipping them off. "I'm a fucking mess lately, the only thing that isn't unraveling is me and Flynn...for once." She slipped on her flip flops. "What's new with you and Tony?" Raven wiggled her eyebrows.
