Raven sat at her kitchen table, drinking a cup of coffee, flipping through the New York Times. When she reached the arts section her mouth dropped open and she slowly lowered her coffee cup to the table.
"Sapphy!" She screamed. There she was her leg in a high attitude, arms flung back, a devious smirk on her face. "Oh my God!"

Sapphy slept in underwear and was walking around with her hair half-in, half-out of a bun that she put up before falling asleep.

Raven waved the paper around her head, then slammed it back down on the table, she began to read. "When the announcement was made that the brilliant Natalia Torneau was to be replaced by Mia Tortulo I was instanly put on guard. I had seen Ms. Tortulo perform a myriad of minor roles and felt she was a mere shade of a ballerina. Tonight however, the italian spitfire removed the veil from her eyes and delivered a performance that chilled my bones. As the swan, Odette, she moved me to tears with the mere flicker of a fingertip and as the sultry manipulative Odile the anger brewed in my heart. Last night I witness the birth of American Ballet Theates next Prima Ballerina. Bravo!"
She shoved the paper in Sapphy's face.

Sapphy blinked and took the newspaper into her hands. She re-read what Raven just said for good measure, letting it settle on her. She finally looked up at Raven, appearing more awake.
"Babe, you're a star!"
