Wraith didn't like this place much, but the offer of free booze was tempting. "I should warn you, I'll probably get a little loopy after the next one." She never, ever would've found the courage to hook up with Kennedy if it weren't for the wonders of alcohol.

She sipped hers too and tried to think of something to say that wasn't business-related. "So...how's everything going? How's Nevada and everyone?" She literally couldn't say the girl's name without her voice squeaking. Wraith regarded Nevada with a constant mixture of fear and guilt.

She nodded. She'd only met Mikey briefly and hadn't even seen the baby yet, but she could imagine they were a handful, especially for someone who was also doing fights in Five Points and shady favors for strange little girls. "It kinda gets to me sometime that I'll probably never have kids, 'cause, well...you know." She definitely wouldn't have blurted that out prior to the two beers.
