He smirked at her, "I ain't moving," he said. He wrapped an arm around her and pulled her closer, kissing her. He had gotten the shit kicked out of him in the ring earlier, there was no way he was giving up his bed.

"Oh, there's nothing to be sorry about," Fire assured her as a huge wave of relief washed over her. One bullet, successfully dodged. "I... I kick in my sleep anyway," she lied, offering her friend a small smile.

Great. That was practically the last thing Fire needed at that moment. If that was the case, maybe she could slip out and head home as soon as Nevada went to bed. "Oh, well, why keep him waiting then?" she asked, faking a smirk.

'because we have a guest over!! I'd never think of it.' she said laughing and shaking her head. Nevada reached for Fire and hugged her, pressing a kiss to her cheek. 'ill cook a delicious breakfast tomorrow and you can meet Mikey and Lucy!' Nevada said excitedly.

Fire closed her eyes, her heart immediately sinking when she felt her friend's lips on her cheek. She nodded, her head racing with thoughts, "You, umm... you should get to sleep. You've had a lot to drink tonight."

Fire curled up on the couch for a moment, briefly letting her eyes close. She sighed and let out a slow, sad breath. This, she decided, was most definitely a bad idea.
"Sorry, Nev," she said quietly even though she knew her friend wouldn't hear her. She got up off of the couch and quietly made her exit from the apartment.
