That was Corsair's game anyway, they all knew it. He leaned back a bit and thought about it, smirking. "Couple fights, few horses at the track that I've word are goin' ta win. An' a game of cards or two. I've got some lads that owe me some money I have to go collect on tomorrow." He intended to collect either in money or in blood and either way worked for him.

"The more money we have to go around the less we go hungry," Tristan said, clearly stating the obvious, but sometimes you had to.
Jimmy nodded in agreement, he sipped his beer. "Spot, " he said cautiously. "I got approached by someone at the track, a guy named Monday."

Nodding Corsair agreed, looking over at Jimmy when he spoke. That name sounded familiar but he'd never met the guy so it had him curious too. "The more money the less we starve. That's how it is." That was life, really.

"Yeah he offered me a job. Said that Priest was looking to move in Brooklyn and then press into Manhattan." Jimmy said, he licked his lips. "I think you should let me get in there, see what the hell Priest has up his sleeve."

"I didn't even know the Priest was still around," Buccaneer replied, though he wasn't irish there were enough Italians around that he got in with some of them. It was all about where you came from, being Sicilian meant a lot to the people he could get in contact with.
Corsair nodded at what Spot was saying, he was a planner and good with information and making a buck. Not to mention he fenced stolen goods and got rid of evidence when he was asked too. "Hell anythin's our specialty.."

Spot frowned, and looked at Tristan for his opinion. "He don't want no newsie gang," Spot added, but shrugged. But they weren't just a bunch of ordinary newsies...

Buccaneer didn't say anything as he took a drink, no they weren't just no ordinary street gang. All of them were a gang in their own right, maybe that made them dangerous? "I don't think he'd care, we don't use pistols."

Tristan was listening intently, "He could still be a problem. Might as well get someone in there to see how far Priest wants to take over. I think Jimmy's the one especially if Monday sought him out."
Jimmy nodded. "I'll keep my eyes and ears open while I'm in there and report back."

"Nothin, just that more an more are comin' over from the old country.." The sicilians were coming, everyone look busy. (lol I wont make bad jokes like that again I promise)
