About his break up with Rae, about her sleeping with Tristan. Lord help them all, she snorted. "No. Can't say I have... even Corsair charming as the blighter is I don't want to be treated to the same fare as about every woman from here to Buffalo.." She was a challenge to be sure. She didn't just jump into bed with anyone.

Her lips curved a bit and she had to smile, he sounded like one if not all of her brothers at various times since they'd moved to Brooklyn. "Aye I seem to get it no matter what I'd do or what I'd wear.... be prepared you know." She had a knife, she could take care of herself. But she was cautious too, cautious and mouthy. Though she often struck first and responded verbally after.

She saw the light flash over his face and she shook her head, her hand moving to tangle in her hair as she leaned her elbow on the table. Propping up her head as she leaned. "And not just any bloke who smiles at me is gonna do. I'm worth more'n that." She and Rae did have a lot in common personality wise, they were similar but vastly different in a lot of ways. "Heard about all the ... bloody mess goin' on..." she waved her hand. It was a Pub, and newsies talked about everything.

She moved the bottle and refilled the drink, watching him quietly as he spoke. Nodding for a moment, she could listen and not scream. Sure she generally reacted before she spoke but that also meant she listened before she opened her mouth. "You really think so? You guys always seemed perfect for each other even when you were screamin' like banshees.." No one could say that Vi didn't pay attention. That was just her nature.
