She blinked at him, smiling a little. "I wouldn't mess with something like this. Mikey likes you. He knows there's something about you. He deserves to be with his dad, and...felon or not you've been consistent and I can tell you love him."

"I do love him. I...want to get close to him. I mean I know we have a connection right now cause he thinks I'm this fun guy in his life who has the same name as him, but I really wanna be his father. I want to raise him up right, I want him to know that he's loved by me ya know?" He said with a half smile.

She nodded. "You've won both me and him over. People make mistakes, and as long as you continue to work with adoption social workers I don't see how you wouldn't be the perfect family for him."

Tristan smirked and then dived in after Erin. He came up from under the water with a huge smile.

Erin swam over to Mikey, grabbing him and kissing his head. "Hey Tristan wanna play catch?" she asked, throwing Mikey at him.

Tristan laughed and the hoisted him up into the air, tossing him across to Erin.

Erin caught him, laughing, and they played for awhile longer. Later Erin suggest Mikey and Tristan have some alone time and she took a nap.

Tristan got Mikey out of the water. He gently took off his water wimmies and and then started drying him with a towel. Tristan was so tall that he could sit and do this.
