She sighed and nodded, rubbing hte back of her neck a bit. The kitten seemed to be more interested in the strings on her robe than her. "... I know.. you all love him too.."

Isa looked down at Rae and shook her head, "Nah, he's a good one. Strange a bit.. but we hit it off and you know how I am with people in general.." Isa didn't get a long with a lot of people in general. "His name is John.. well.. he chose the nickname Hammer, he was fixin the window down stairs.."

"We talked... was like talking to anyone I'd know for awhile. You know how I can get-- and it was easy to talk to him. He brought me up the stairs, I made him swear on his life not to tell anyone I didn't walk up them though."

Rae nodded, "Ain't we all got some horrible story, Isa?" The kitten swatted at Rae again and instead of swatting back she petted him under his chin.
