Spot pulled away, and looked down at the dog. "Goddamnit."

Rae laughed, "I'll take him out. Come on Scruffy," she smiled at her puppy and the crawled out of the bed.

"sure," she said with a huge smile. Rae bent down to tie the rope gently around scruffy's neck.

"A nice comfortable red one," She said with a smile. Scruffy trotted along ahead of them, with his head held high up in the air. He was already starting to realize he was somewhat of a privelaged pup.
Rae glanced at Spot and then down at her dog, "You're gonna ruin him, look at the way he's walking."

Rae laughed and looped her arm in Spot's as they walked. They stepped out into the cool night air and Scruffy barked, looking back at them, "Go on," she said.

At that moment Scruffy barked and then ran off to them.
