Aiden couldn't either. He stood up during the intermission and went to go get a whiskey at the bar.

Raven of course was out by the bar as well with a glass of white wine in her hand. She took a sip. The space was nearly empty, clearly nearly everyone had decided that they couldn't handle one more minute of the worst ballet in history.
She spied Spot out of the corner of her eye and then looked away.

Aiden raised his eyebrow and held his whiskey glass.
"what are you doing here?" he asked her, more curious than annoyed.

"Came to see my replacement. I enjoy a certain amount of torture in my life...but then again," She shrugged a shoulder at smirked at him, then took a sip of her wine.

"Don't matter anyway. I'm selling this place," Aiden told her, although he wasn't really sure why.

"What?" She exclaimed and nearly dropped her drink in the process, catching it in just in time. "You...what? You can't!" Her heart dropped. "You haven't given it a chance!"

"because you fired the star," she pointed out with a smirk, "I'd been rehearsing for three months and training my entire life. Then the director was forced to but someone completely new in the role who didnt know the role at all. Of course it was a disaster."

"You need to learn your place," Aiden told her, but sighed. "Go on. Go take your place." he drank the rest of the whiskey.

Rae actually smiled at him and then stood on her toes to kiss his cheek. Raven darted off toward the backstage area, removing her hat pin as she went.

Aiden rolled his eyes and completely left the theater, not even bothering to stay for the rest of it, and headed to a gentlemen's club, where he got drunk and passed out on the carriage ride home.

((that little shit didn't even stay to watch her! GRRR))
Raven was still uncertain whether she actually had a job or not at the theatre even though she had practically managed to single handedly save the entire production of swan lake. While walking that morning she stopped to buy a paper from a newsboy and immediately turned it to the arts section.
As she read her review, while strolling down the street and caught out of the corner of her eye Mr. Conlon leaving his home.
"Good morning," She called out to him with a wave. She figured she might as well be nice, he did let her finish the performance and from what the reviews said her second act was an act of sheer genius.

Aiden had a massive headache from the night before and the only reason why he had even gotten out of bed was because there was a meeting at the theater.
Therefore he merely grunted at raven.

"I see you have yet to get your paper," She remarked with a coy smile. She handed him hers. "Tomato juice and lime," she also said, "for that awful hangover of yours." She casually opened her parasol and positioned it so it blocked the sun from Spot's eyes.

Aiden took the paper from her and read the reviews. "Congrats. Don't get comfy though, I'm still selling the place."
